I sat among a pile of papers. Everywhere I looked, I saw more work to do, and the longer I looked at it, the more overwhelmed I became. Finally, I burst into tears. "Why can't I just figure out a system for all of this paper?" I said to myself. Here I was, an intelligent woman, and I could not figure out how to set up a filing system. I felt stupid.

As I write this, I hear my late father's deep voice singing the song "The Impossible Dream" from the Man of La Mancha. Tears fill my eyes and I remember the words to this song and the way he sang them - strong, solid and resolute, as if they were the motto of his life. My father was an entrepreneur. As a child, I was always impressed by the creativity, passion and fire with which he approached his everyday tasks. Now older and living the life of an entrepreneur myself, I've made an interesting discovery - even though I make a lot of money, an entrepreneur is completely UNemployable!

As I walked away from a chance encounter with an old friend the other day, I was overcome with sadness.
